Tastes Like Chicken

Since this is the Kinateder FAMILY Blog, not just the Hyrum blog, I thought I'd better include a post that has nothing to do with him. Ryan went pheasant hunting with his friend John Burchett recently - he has a black lab that they took out to a farm in central Washington. They shot a combined total of 7 pheasants, and Ryan claims to have shot at least 2, possibly 3 of them. We cooked them up for dinner that weekend and had the Burchetts over. It was very good meat ... and a rather pretty bird.
