Caucus

Ryan, Hyrum and I went to the Republican Caucus last Saturday - A first for all of us. There was a much larger turnout than the organizers expected - our room was packed full, probably half the people didn't get chairs. It was hot, crowded, and took longer than we expected, but we're glad we went. (Thankfully, right outside the room was a little playground with swings for Hyrum when he got bored - otherwise he & I might not have lasted.) Even though the turnout was so much better than expected, there was still only 3 people from our precinct - Ryan, me, and a Huckabee supporter. Ryan was an automatic delegate as he was the "precinct committee officer", and we took a vote to elect our other delegate. Since Ryan and I both voted for me, I won by a 2/3 vote, and we will both be delegates to the county convention. No secret who we are supporting, Go Ron Paul!

Wants to be like his dad!

Ryan went to listen to Ron Paul speak when he came to Seattle a few weeks ago - and brought home a couple of these nifty signs.

Here he is in person!

If that advertisement with Hyrum smiling in front of the Ron Paul sign were out two weeks ago... Ron Paul definately would have had two more votes! Hilarious!
