From your brother

Happy 40th Birthday!

I figured that since I am the main viewer (hopefully not the only) of this blog that it would be fitting that I take time to do a post about you. You’re the best brother and I have always looked up to you in the following ways:

There was no lying to you, you always knew when I took my shoes off in the bed
You tied flies and fly fished; two things I always wanted to do just because you did them
You taught me to respect insects and reptiles (insects don't bother me but I still hate snakes and lizards)
You coached my soccer team and told us to eat “raw meat”
I looked up to you so much that I asked you to baptize me just so that I could be your “first baptism” before you went on your mission
Dad let you fish in the cool spot in the boat (out on the front)
   Snakes don’t scare you
You took me on the best backpacking trips (Top of the Y Mountain and Amethyst lake)
You drank water from the “teet of the earth”
You set the example of going on a mission
You let me drive my first stick (it didn’t work - I almost burned up the Z)
   You took me shooting
   You took “black tape” pictures
You took an hour out of your day to talk to me as I drove home from the U of U
You’re the only sibling that has come and visit us in Texas
You’re an amazing Dad and your kids think you can run faster than Superman
You have coached me through multiple difficult times of my life

I wish that I could list all of the great things about you but I don't have as good of a memory as you.  You have always been a great person to look up to.

Thanks for everything,

Happy 40th Brother

Love Kyle
