Summer Teaser

We had summer weather this week - in the 80s! We had to get out and play in the water since it won't likely get this warm again until mid July. 

 At Pipe lake near our house, Elliot just got his feet wet, the other two boys jumped in for a swim.

 Jen really likes this picture, not sure why. He's in the middle of trying to explain why he needs to be wrapped up in a towel because he got cold in the lake

 Jen took Isaac & Elliot to Lake Wilderness the next day. Perfect weather for playing at the beach. Elliot sure loves digging in the sand, pretending he's a backhoe/dump truck/excavator

 Wiped out from playing in the sun. Didn't want to wake up from his nap today.

 This is Elliot pretending to drive a pirate ship. He's fascinated by steering wheels & driving. He builds "pirate ships" out of blocks or stuffed animals, and sits in them while pretending to drive using anything that turns or could be used as a lever. We need to get this kid a cozy coupe. He'd never get out of it.

The nice weather faded away just in time for the father-sons campout this weekend. Ryan & the two older boys still went & had fun. Although 3 sleeping in the back of the Subaru may not have been the best idea. That one won't happen again.
