Soccer 2014

Well Saturday saw the last game of soccer season.  Here are some pictures from the season.  All in all it was a fun year.  Isaac got to be on his best friend Max's team and Hyrum had two friends from the ward on his team.  Hyrum team is transitioning into "Big boy soccer" where it's expected that the boys play their positions.  By the end of the season they were getting the hang of it.  Hyrum seemed to shine on defence where I think he liked defending a defined area rather than spreading across the field like forwards do.  But he did a score a goal this year so he was pretty excited at that.  Still working on paying attention to the game...

We also attending the PTA Halloween party at the school.  Lots of kids... not sure if we'll do this one again...

Oh and I almost forgot to mention our little leaf raker, who is a big help with all the downed leaves and cedar needles.

I think we waited in line (or Dad waited in line) for about 30 minutes to be able to eat these donuts. I was trying to explain to the boys that we could go to the store and buy donuts and set up a similar contraption at the house in less time than the line.

You can't tell from the picture but it was a real race between Hyrum and the Ninja Turtle to his left.
Hyrum ended up being the victor and was very pleased with himself.

Our little Jake the Pirate.

Isaac with one of the few times we actually saw him running.

Some kid, Max and Isaac

Wait a go!!!  Nudge that kid out of the way!!!

Above all have fun.
Something Dad had to remind himself of...
Soccer 2014 was a fun year.
