Sauerkraut and deforestation.

I made Sauerkraut this week.  Not bad for the first batch.  It's nice and crunchy with a pretty mild taste.  We'll try it again.  Jen has been very cautious, but after I didn't die tried some and likes it :)

I think I've mentioned before that they've cut down part of our forest for a housing development.  It's sad to see... but might as well enjoy looking at all of those "building machines"
