Happy Easter and Birthday for Isaac

We enjoyed Easter at home this year playing with Legos and watching conference.  For the most part everyone was good, the legos were a good quiet activity and hopefully some of conference will rub off of the boys :)  Tonight in his prayers Isaac thanked Heavenly Father that Jesus was Resurrected on Easter.

Isaac had his 6th birthday.  He was very excited about getting his own watch (like his older brother) it's been fun for Jen and I to ask "What time is it" and have the boys race back with a response.  It also makes "time out" a little more bearable when you have your own count down timer right there on your wrist.  All of the boys were pretty excited with the lego's (Ninjago and Minecraft) Isaac got for his birthday, it is really nice that the boys are willing to share their toys (for the most part...)

We also had our annual neighborhood Easter egg hunt.  Isaac's name came up early in the drawing and he knew exactly what he wanted, a dinosaur softie.  There was another kid who really wanted it and bust into tears when Isaac claimed it.  I thought this could be one of those moments, I knelt down and explained to Isaac that that other kids really wanted the dinosaur, he knew exactly what I was getting at and said "Nope Dad, this is mine!"  Fair enough, I didn't push it.  Hopefully he'll remember this when the chips don't fall his way...
To bad we can't be more like the Canadians (Canadian kids fighting over a hockey puck)
