Kinateder Family: Summer fun

Sorry it's been a while. We've been having a very warm and sunny summer it's been nice. The past few days have been nice and cool with a little bit of rain which has also been nice.

Some of the highlights have included:

Painting the boys room
Snoqualmie falls
Trip to Flaming Geyser
Cub Camp
Visit from cousin Luke
Camping at Mt Rainier
and the arrival of Isaacs Hamster softie

Everyone was pretty excited to chip in and help

But for some reason Dad ended up doing a lot of the work

Snoqualmie Falls

Jen took the boys out to snoqualmie falls for a day adventure.

Fun at the Lake

The inflatable stingray has been a big hit at our Lake

Trip to Flaming Geyser

Isaac just stomped out the eternal flame. It had been burning for 73 years and he went over and stopped it out!

There were some fun little hikes and lots of good rock throwing. It was a nice relief from the summer heat we've been having.

(Just kidding but it was out when when got there)

fun to watch people flying their planes

Cub Camp

This was Hyrum's first year of Cub camp. I think he'll be going again.... It requires a lot of parent involvement. Jen was the trooper this year. I was slated to take one of the days but stayed home with a sick and coughing Isaac.

Visit from cousin Luke

Tiffany and Mark came out with Luke and Daniel. The boys had a lot of fun playing with their cousins. I felt pretty tough going on a run with an active duty Marine (He wasn't breathing nearly as hard)

Pretty intense pickup game of hoops going on.

Trip to Mt Rainier

We made it out for an overnighter to Mt Rainier. This was right in between Isaac's cough cold ending and Elliot's beginning. We're into Elliot's second week of this, hoping this will be the last week and we can all be healthy for our family reunion. Had a fun time hiking, roasting marshmallows and sleeping in a tent.
