Blue Angels in Seattle

The Blue Angels were in town for Seafair.  We decided to branch out and try a new spot down by lake washington, the location of the actual airshow.

It worked out pretty well.  Jen stayed home with Elliot who had his last Dr Appointment (hooray he's all better!)  Hyrum, Isaac and I headed over to Seattle just west of the lake and found our way to the lake.  It was HOT!   We were grateful to Jen for packing an umbrella.

The boys said they liked our normal spot better down at Boeing field.  Normally we watch them take off from there.  You get less of a show but you are closer and can really feel the engines as they take off.  "Plus you get to sit on top of the van" - Isaac.

Waiting for the Blue Angels there we some other planes.  Our favorite was the F-22.  Unfortunately my camera was set on a slow shutter speed and all of my F-22 shots were blurry :(   My favorite was the F-22 flying with a P-51 Mustang.
