Ryan suggested we blog about having twins since it is April fools day (happy birthday Abby), but honestly we don't even have the one baby out yet. I've been counting on this kid coming early, so any day now would be fine with me. I had another ultrasound today, and he's looking healthy & about 5lb, 14 oz (of course that's an estimate, but since that's exactly where Hyrum was at this many weeks (38), I'd guess it's pretty close). Not much else to write about, but here's some pictures from the last couple months when I haven't been blogging much (I've been working on a
blurb book for all our 2008 pictures, and it's finally done!). So here's some of the happenings from our house lately:

Getting ready to throw a rock over the ravine in our back yard, a favorite activity of Hyrum's. This picture was taken in January, but it's not that much warmer now than it was then (it snowed today - we're not happy)

Helping Mom make Valentines cookies. He still talks about this, and likes to pull out the cutting board and ask if we can make more. I tell him maybe when Grandma comes to visit they can make cookies. (a warning to the grandmas)

Helping Dad fix a flat tire on the Subaru. He really enjoyed this.

Throwing rocks in the Green River. Ryan's the one to thank for the great pictures (as usual)

Due to the economic downturn and our family's attempt at reducing our carbon footprint, Hyrum has elected to bathe in a bucket. An Orange Homer Home Depot bucket to be exact.

Another of Hyrum's favorite games: "bocky ball" He runs back and forth on the couch while Ryan chucks a large purple plastic ball at him (hard enough to knock him over - think dodgeball)

As much as I complain about the cold, we have had some nicer days. Hyrum likes to run up & down this hill over and over again. I'm always afraid he's going to fall when I watch him galloping down, but he just keeps going (this is the same place he fell & scratched up his face
last year).

We found these little blue hats my Grandma Holyoak made as I was going through his old baby stuff. They fit on his puppy & George Monkey just perfect. I had a blue beanie that matched for Hyrum to wear.

And one last smile.

looks like the three of you have been having fun this winter. I can't wait to see the new one.
Such a sweet little boy! Sounds like life is fun. Good luck getting your baby here early!
