Hyrum had fun watching his dad build his pinewood derby this year.
It actually wasn't that bad, Dad did do a bit of the work, but Hyrum designed the car and colors, and did a lot of sanding. Isaac also got into the action building first a prototype out of a piece of 2x4 and then his own car. (The car that was supposed to be dad's, next year buy 3 cars)
Hyrum's car did win one of the heats and had a respectable showing in some of the others, but we have a way to go to take the title.
