Hyrum's Baptism!

It's been a special weekend at the Kinateders. Hyrum was baptized on Saturday, May 2nd. It was so nice to have his grandparents here, and everyone who came to be with him and congratulate him on his decision to be baptized. We're so proud of him!

Hyrum's wearing some candy leis from his friend Eli. I think this was Hyrum's favorite part of the whole thing. He told Isaac later "you should definitely invite Eli to your baptism." He also told me he liked the confirmation part better than the baptism part. Because the baptism was so fast he felt like Mace Windu, it was over before he knew it.  We aren't sure what the connection is there, but everything can be related back to Star Wars at our house lately.

These are the men who stood in when Hyrum was confirmed. Grandpa Jones, Ryan, Grandpa Kinateder, and Bishop Palmer. Ryan did the baptism and confirmation.
